California Corn Bread Mix

2 cups Bisquick baking mix
½ cup cornmeal [64 g]
½ cup sugar [100 g]
1 tbsp baking powder

Mix together Bisquick and baking powder. Layer in quart jar in this order: Bisquick mixture, cornmeal and sugar. Seal and decorate jar as desired.

Attach to Jar: California Corn Bread
Serves 4 to 6
1 Jar California Corn Bread Mix
2 eggs [110 g]
1 cup milk [250 ml]
½ cup butter, melted [114 g]


Preheat the oven to 350°F. Place the corn bread mix in a large mixing bowl and add the eggs, milk and butter. Blend until the mixture is smooth. Poor into a greased 8-inch baking pan and bake for 30 minutes.
