Symphony Night Beef Vegetable Stew

1 pound stewing beef [500 g]
2 carrots peeled and chopped
2 potatoes peeled and sliced
1 onion chopped
2 stalks celery chopped
1 can Campbell's onion soup undiluted
1 can Campbell's cream of mushroom soup undiluted
salt and pepper
Combine meat and vegetables in a large casserole dish. Mix soups and pour over meat and vegetables. Season with salt and pepper. Mix together well. Bake covered at 300°F for 4 hours.
